We are very pleased to announce our reopening on Monday, June 1st. Ever since our workspace closed on March 23rd, we have been paying close attention to the recommendations from state and local health authorities, as to when and how we can reopen safely, to serve the needs of our members and guests. We have also been in contact with other coworking centers around the world to learn what they are doing to address health and safety issues in their facilities.
With our reopening comes a few changes to our policies and procedures. We trust that they will not be too burdensome. Here are some things to know:
- Part time and drop-in coworking is by appointment only. We don’t want to have to turn anyone away if we reach our capacity of four people in the common coworking area. Part time members have access to our online calendar, where this space can be reserved. Members can contact us for a personal calendar link.
- All members and visitors must sign in and out. By doing so, they attest to being symptom free.
- We request that everyone use the cleaning products that we will provide to disinfect their work area and personal equipment when they arrive (“clean in”) and depart (“clean out”), We will also be disinfecting the common areas at least once a day.
- The use of masks or face coverings is strongly recommended in all public spaces at WorkPlace Sonora. If the number of COVID-19 cases in Tuolumne County increases, they may be required.
You can read our full COVID-19 Prevention Plan, which was written in accordance with Cal/OSHA’s Covid-19 General Checklist for Office Workspaces.
If you or someone you know has been housebound for too long, we are a great alternative to working from home. We still hold to our original commitment of building a coworking community where people can work in comfort and safety, with great internet, like minded coworkers and fresh, local coffee. Please contact us to schedule a tour or learn more about how to join.
